Vinayak Guest House — Hotel in Bidhannagar

We experienced 2 horrible nights at Vinayak Guest House. Though we booked two deluxe rooms we were accommodated in two such rooms which were so dirty and conjusted. There was a foul smell in the rooms every moment which was very annoying. There was no provision of soap, toothpaste, tooth brush etc. One very torn out hawai sappal was there in the toilet. I would like to share the photograph of that hawai sappal, but here, no provision of uploading photos. That's why I couldn't.

Drinking water was provided in unsealed bottles. When asked, the caretaker replied that it was Aquaguard water. But we did not see any Aquaguard in the guest house. So we were compelled to purchase mineral water from outside.

At the time of booking, it was told to us that there was nice provision of food, snacks & beverage prepared in their 'Cikazo Kitchen'. But in reality, there was a very small(10 feet × 6 feet) and unhygienic kitchen in the guest house where very limited nos. of food items were available. But at the time of booking, we were provided a 4 pages menu card where 76 nos. of different food items were listed.

We saw two caretaker in the guest house during our stay. They were not well mannered. Actually they were fustrated man due to some unknown reasons. We noticed a 'fear' on their face every moment.

Overall, our stay was not pleasent at Vinayak Guest House at all. By promising so many at the time of booking, we were cheated only.

Actually we have learnt a lesson from this stay. By seeing photos only uploaded by hotels or guest house, no one should book rooms. 'All that glitters...

A Cozy Stay with a Few Quirks

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this guest house, and overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience.

Rooms: Neat and Good

The rooms were tidy and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and adequate amenities. I appreciated the attention to detail in keeping the rooms clean and organized.

Washroom: A Bit of a Squeeze

However, the washroom was a bit of a letdown. It was small, making it difficult to move around comfortably. While it was clean and functional, the limited space was a drawback.

Service: Friendly and Attentive

The service at the guest house was top-notch. The staff were friendly, helpful, and responsive to my needs. They went out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable stay.

Overall: A Good Option with a Few Tweaks

While the small washroom was a drawback, the comfortable rooms and excellent service made up for it. With a bit of renovation to enlarge the washrooms, this guest house could be a true gem.

I came here as single woman.Since this place is near to my Conference place with good ratings, I chose this. The price seemed reasonable with healthy ratings .It is basically ground floor of an apartment with 5 rooms. I had booked a a day prior so all the deluxe rooms were booked hence I had opted for a standard room without knowing the catch. The room I was provided had common washroom outside the room and I felt it extremely unsafe to use especially when I was staying alone. However when a guest left early, I was towards the evening accommodated in a room with attached washroom. When you book ,it is nowhere mentioned that it has a common washroom only when you pay they show it along with your bill. So before coming ensure it. However I would also like to mention that the staff is very helpful, polite and accommodating.That's why I have rated the service with 5 star. The owner is not very forthcoming in his sharing of details of the facilities so, the standard room must be avoided at all costs.
