Extremely Poor Customer Experience – 1 Star or lower:

I had heard a lot about the restaurants at Biscoman Bhawan in Patna, so I decided to visit today dated 21st Dec 2024 with my family. I got to know that there are 3 restaurants from 16th to 18th floors in the same building and we were really excited to enjoy our time. We initially decided to visit the restaurant on the18th floor; however, we wanted to have something light hence decided to go to the Lighthouse Café which was located on the 17th floor. When we saw the restaurant we were delighted with the ambiance; however, our excitement was short-lived due to the unprofessional behavior of the restaurant helper, Mr. Kundan. As we were about to be seated, he immediately confronted us, questioning why we came there after visiting the 18th floor and pointing out that we didn’t have a reservation. I politely explained why we came to the café. Despite this, he asked us to wait for half an hour on the uncovered terrace area in the sunlight, which made us rethink our decision to stay. While we were waiting we noticed at least 2-3 vacant tables and requested him again for the seating. He eventually allowed us to sit at one; however, just as we were settling in, he asked us to move to a less desirable table on the other side of the restaurant. He claimed that since we hadn’t reserved, we couldn’t sit at the window side tables which were reserved for people who would be booking in advance. After ordering our food, I requested him again for the window-side table but he refused, saying it was reserved for a couple and pointed out to two people who were already having food. When I said that they were already eating; he still refused, claiming they had asked first to be moved. This unreasonable and biased behavior ruined our experience. Later I saw people from other table occupying that sane table for a better view which Mr. Kundan allowed without saying a single word. At this point, I wanted to cancel our order but decided to continue. However, by then, our mood was completely ruined. My daughter, who was so excited to enjoy the ambiance and good food, was deeply disappointed. I even recorded a video showing the empty tables and how Mr. Kundan’s behavior seemed like retaliation for us visiting the 18th floor first. We traveled all the way from New Delhi and had high hopes for this place, but the experience was extremely poor. As someone who owns a banquet and resort which is at least 50 times bigger than this restaurant, I know the importance of good customer service. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and no guest should be made to feel unwelcome like this. Based on our experience, I rate this place 1 star or lower, solely because of the terrible service and behaviour we encountered. Please do not dare to visit Lighthouse Cafe restaurant if you first plan to go to any other restaurant in the same building as Mr. Kundan will definitely try to satisfy his ego by misbehaving and mistreating you and...

Don’t surprise about my rating just go with my details observation Ambiance and location of restaurant is superb no doubt about it ,Food Quality is also Good but as Food Management came under Service I rated it bad because Menu is not extensive and at start of Dining at ( 8 pm ) while Ordering They said 3 dishes Chicken Lollipop/ Drumstick and Pink Lemonade not available /stock Out , This is really Embarrassing and not as per restaurant standards Food Management Team seriously need Proper Training to mange as per table rotation ratio and days Music is good but very Loud Utensils used for Soup ( Soup Bowl and chutney ) are very cheap and are made of Melamine , need to replace as per restaurant standard immediately Many waiters/ Service Man are not of Restaurant/Hotel standard as not good to handle the service ( touching the spoon head and ask me to use spoon came with dishes! ) but they are humble as prompt Some of mangers are very good and managing crowd very effective and efficiently Reservations made by me through Mr Rahul is polite and humbled with manners As restaurant at 17th Floor with small open space is good for photography of patna surroundings I like decorations ,seating arrangements and Lighting One more odd thing observed that Service man/waiters standing everywhere between the space why ? as every Table is provided with gadgets for Bill water and Waiter ,so no need to stand like that As rates are reasonable so Huge Crowd is there with waiting period I suggest to do advance table booking to avoid Rush / Crowd specially during weekends and holiday's They Charged 8% as Services Charges without Your Consent ( 400 rs as service charge ) is really pathetic Water bottle they provide of Rs 50-60/bottle and service charges and GST on water bottle also .. Cleverly taking money from you ! !!! restaurant should be option of RO water and Drinking water My humble Request to senior Hotel Management to take my all suggestion seriously I want to see this Cafe Top notch in Bihar with high Restaurant standards as it has potential

This cafe is located in Biscoman Near Gate number 01 of Gandhi Maidan.

We pre booked the table for us and visted there which is on 17th Floor of the building.

The ambience was fantastic and look from their is also very good. There is seperate sitting space in open however none of the spaces is revolving.

We ordered Mojito, Chicken Lolipop in starter and in Main cource we have two type pf chickens having 2 pieces in each dish along with butter naan.

Overall tatste wise I am not at all satisfied as Chicken Lolipop is smaller in size and taste was not at all up to the mark it has conflour taste which is not at all cooked.

In main cource all the non veg items are around Rs 450 to 500 having only 2 pieces in it. Taste wise both are not upto the mark both are ok kind off for me.

Butter Naan is having 3 slice which costs Rs 99, However the official said they have 2 slices but that was incorrect information.

Service was good, promot and the person was very poliet and hardworking througout the time.

Coming to price point, It is at higher range and I would rate as costly and even expensive post the taste and quantity of food served. In patna itself you can find way good tasty food at very ok price compared to them.

The above order took me around Rs 2300 and I feel the quality and quantity is not at all upto the mark
