Following the instructions of Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister K. Taraka Rama Rao, the civic body had made a walking track using five elements of nature which rejuvenate walkers. The pancha tattva tracks that look similar to the walkway used by PM Narendra Modi during a fitness challenge in June, would stimulate neurological reflex zones in the foot. The acupressure walkway will be built near the meeting place located at the very centre of the park. Each acupressure walkway will have five components, including rough sand, soft sand,  regur soil, saw dust, soft and smooth river rocks or cobblestones. The walk will be designed in such a way that it would lead from hard terrain to soft and finally enter in to the water.

I recently visited this municipal park in the evening, and it was a disappointing experience. Despite charging 10 rupees per person at the entrance, the park lacks basic amenities. There is hardly any lighting on the walking paths, making it difficult to walk safely after dusk.

Cleanliness is another issue here; the park grounds are not well-maintained, and it’s clear that regular upkeep is missing. The kids' play area, in particular, is in terrible condition—no lights have been working there for days, making it unusable for children after dark.

It’s a shame because this park has potential to be a great community space, but it needs proper management and attention to make it a safe and enjoyable place for everyone. I hope the authorities look into these issues and improve the...
