After hearing the entry fee i was a bit confused about going to this place because The charge was 290 rupees for one adult on weekdays and it wary 10 to 20 rupees on the weekend. But after entering the underground aquarium and seeing the collections of fishes informations and the area I was really happy and I felt was worth paying 290 when I went to this place some of the construction work undergoing there was still more training to make place better I felt bit of uncleanliness but it won't matter when you see the collections of fishes there not only fishes they have variety of sea creatures and they have a very lord collections of big fishes and the breathtaking view was that underground aquarium it is really really a fantastic place you will feel like you know your under the water and the fishes will be above your head it is a one of the great experience you must visit in Mysore they not only have fishes but they give you all the information the fishes name how how they are brought their you will get all the information you just not only see the fishes and you can also feed them they provide food and their will be a guides to guide about feeding them. Inside the place you have a variety of snacks options where you can chill have food have great snacks and spend your quality time. For those who are familiar, this is a concept similar to the VGP marine kingdom located in Chennai, but this is a slightly scaled down version. The entrance is Rs.200 for adults, and I think they charge Rs.150 for kids below 120 cm. Once you enter, you are greeted by a photographer who will take your photo which you can get printed while you exit the facility. The aquarium itself has a good collection of fishes, mostly fresh water species which you might see in your local aquarium. You can get fish feed for Rs.49 per box (a very small one if i may add) and feed the carps in certain sections of the aquarium. The main section was supposed to be the underwater experience where you could view the fishes above and around you, but that was not up to our expectations. It was mostly a dome shaped tunnel with water filled between the glass and the wall barely a feet behind it. When you looked above your head there is very little water depth which meant no large fishes could be maintained. At the exit, you can view your photo with different background pictures. A standard size photo print will cost you Rs.300, but the good thing was they upload the soft copy of all the edited pics and provide you with a QR code from where you can download. Overall, for the price we paid, it was good, but the place requires a little bit of upkeep to keep the displays clean. Kids and adults alike can spend a quality 30-60 mins here.

Hello everyone, India's largest underwater tunnel aquarium, featuring the most extensive collection of marine life in tanks. This includes incredible sea turtles, island fishes, sharks, and more. The vast array of fishes, not commonly seen every day, provides a delightful treat for the eyes and a relaxing experience for everyone. Artificial waterfalls add to the ambiance with their awesome sounds. We have the opportunity to feed fishes at designated spots, enhancing our enjoyment. The extensive underwater tunnel is truly remarkable, bringing us closer to the fishes and creating a sensation of being beneath the sea level. The entire facility is well-maintained, clean, and tidy. The friendly staff provides proper guidance throughout the two-hour experience. Upon completion, there is a cafeteria and a corn shop where we can further enjoy our visit. Ample seating arrangements are available at various points for visitors to sit back and relax. In conclusion, it's a worthwhile destination in Mysuru, offering a chance to witness captivating underwater life. Visitors of all ages, including kids, elders, and adults, are sure to have a great time. Operating hours: All day from 9 am to 9.30 pm. Ticket prices: 199 rupees for adults and 149 rupees for kids.

I visited Lokaranjan Aqua World Underwater Zoo on 30th June 2024, and it was a delightful experience. The entry fee is 299 per head, which is reasonable considering the unique attractions inside. The underwater zoo offers an impressive array of aquatic life. The beautifully designed aquariums house a wide variety of fish and marine creatures, all displayed in well-maintained, clean tanks. The highlight was definitely the walk-through tunnel, where you can see the sea life swimming overhead, giving a truly immersive experience. The layout is visitor-friendly with informative displays about the different species. The staff were knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions, enhancing the educational aspect of the visit. However, the facility could benefit from a few more interactive exhibits or activities, especially for children. Also, some areas felt a bit crowded, but it didn't detract too much from the overall experience. Overall, Lokaranjan Aqua World Underwater Zoo is a great place to spend a few hours exploring the wonders of the underwater world. It's a must-visit for families and anyone interested in marine life.

I recently visited Lokaranjan Aqua World Underwater Zoo with my kid, and we were both amazed by the stunning array of marine life! The underwater tunnel and exhibits offered a unique and immersive experience, making us feel like we were part of the ocean. My kid was thrilled to see the colorful fish, sharks, rays, and even turtles up close. The interactive displays and feeding demonstrations added to the excitement. We spent around 3 hours exploring the underwater world, and it was just the right amount of time to take in all the wonders. The facilities were modern and well-maintained, with friendly staff and clear signage. What impressed me most was the variety of species and the emphasis on education and conservation. Overall, I highly recommend Lokaranjan Aqua World Underwater Zoo for a fascinating and educational experience. It's perfect for kids and adults alike. _Tips:_ - Plan to spend at least 3 hours to explore all exhibits - Get up close with marine life at the interactive displays - Don't miss the feeding demonstrations and underwater tunnel We'll definitely be back for another underwater adventure.
