Well let me give you brief description about this hotel and give you a clarification between 2 Mylari original hotel's (Vinayaka Mylari & Mahadeshwara Mylari) They resides in same road. They are family members.(I think so) Dosa costs 40rs at both hotel's During weekends it is crowded with people's. Vinayaka Mylari has a better taste of dosa as well as saagu where as in Mahadeshwara Mylari it is not up to the mark! Coming to ambiance it's not much good at both place when it comes to select best in average Vinayaka Mylari is good. Service is little good at Vinayaka rather than Mahadeshwara Mylari. Seating capacity is less in Mahadeshwara Mylari than Vinayaka Mylari. The price of the dosa at both the place is bit cost for it's quantity. A single dosa isn't sufficient for a person.😅 They do accept digital payments at both hotel's. Coming to cleanliness Mahadeshwara Mylari isn't good compared to Vinayaka. There's no proper parking facility at Mahadeshwara Mylari. Overall experience was okay okay at Mahadeshwara and wasn't much up to the expectations. For all who are confused with these two hotel's let me give you a quick suggestion that Vinayaka Mylari is best. Go for it and...
Read moreBefore you read the review of this place it is important to know that there is another hotel by the name "Mylari" on the opposite side of the road just 30 meters away. So there is lot of confusion on the web. People might have reviewed that place as this place and vice versa.
Review Ambiance : 2/5. The seating is on two floors. It's a very small place. Congested. Dusty tables (1st floor). Unclean washroom (ceramic turned brown) . No wall hangings and no internal designs etc.
Service : 2/5. the guy who prepares food is the one who takes orders. This is fine if thats the business strategy but the cook wears no apron or any other dress suitable for maintaining hygiene during cooking . This also impacts the pace of service provided.
Food: 3.5/5 Pretty small menu There are only 2 types of dosa : benne masala dosa, plain dosa. Plus you get idli and also coffee.
There is no sambar provided which is slightly disappointing. The taste is slightly different (in a good way) compared to other places .. dosa is soft and chatni is decent. By masala, they give saagu (non alu) and not the traditional red powder smeared to the dosa. Nothing I would...
