This is a very true event that has taken place. I had gone with my family to watch a movie which was at 9.30 pm. Initially we had come across an incident, where one customer created an issue where he ordered the food, but it was brought after their movie ended. Then I had ordered snacks and had requested the staff to send it over to our screen during the interval. I had ordered 2 popcorns, 2 nachos and 2 pepsi...the order came 15 min before the movie got over. We were deliver with 2 popcorns,1 nachos and 1 pepsi. And when we asked about the other 1 nachos and pepsi, the staff replied they are bringing it in second trip. After the movie got over I went over and spoke to them regarding this issue. They rechecked and found they hadn't given us with the correct requirment and reimbursed for the food that we didn't get. As it was a late night show, the mall had closed down. It was around 11.45 when the issue was sorted, we had exited from the main gate of entrance as we weren't allowed to go from the normal exit after the movie was over. Our car was parked at P3, so we had to go down through the escalator to the food court and from there use the parking elevator and go to P3. We found that the elevator was switched off. We went to and from to many people asking for help. We met 2 men, who said they have requested the security to switch the elevator on. It was already 45 min we were stuck . We had to go back to PVR and ask them for help as we weren't able to go to P3. The staffs over there misbehaved and I would like to take note of the manager whose name is Ramu. He was very much I'll mannered , my dad has severe knee ligament issue. The manager made us go down and come up 2-3 times. When the issue wasn't sorted out as a host who watches movie , we were really upset and we raised this as a concern ,where it was just unheard and acknowledged as if customers requirment isn't valued. Please take a note whoever is reading we faced true and bad harrasment from the PVR staff. I would really request if the PVR head is reading our issue. Please check the mall CCTV camera on how they made us run around, who really had a bad knee. And take strict actions against all the staff who was involved in this act and didn't take anu initiative to...

On 29th April 2025, my husband and I visited PVR Cinemas at Forum Mall to watch the 4:00 PM show of Thudarum. Unfortunately, from the very beginning, the air conditioning was not working inside the screen. Even after informing the mall management during the interval, no action was taken.
The entire theatre remained hot and uncomfortable throughout the movie. After the show, everyone in the audience expressed their frustration. A group of us requested a refund, but the response from the PVR staff was extremely disappointing. Shockingly, a lady staff member from PVR management ( beige color uniform with hair put up, slim short ) even shouted at us instead of handling the matter professionally.
After nearly two hours of arguments, the police had to step in, and only then was the refund issued. While the movie itself was good, the overall experience was completely ruined due to poor facility management, lack of accountability, and unprofessional staff behavior.
Our time and money are valuable. People don’t pay Rs. 500+ per ticket just to watch a movie—they’re paying for comfort and service. To make it worse, the food service was also highly overrated and not worth the price. If you charge premium prices, you must deliver premium quality. That includes working air conditioning, decent seating, courteous staff, and quality food.
There were kids and elderly people in the audience who suffered through the heat, which is completely unacceptable. If your screen or services are not ready, don’t let people in. It’s not just about showing a movie—it’s about respecting people’s time, money, and comfort.
PVR and Forum Mall management, please take responsibility and train your staff to treat customers with basic respect. This experience was far from what we expect from a reputed cinema.
Very disappointed with PVR Cinemas,...
