This used to be my absolute go-to place at Forum Mall. Every single visit, I made sure to stop by and buy something. But today’s experience was beyond disappointing it was shocking.I had ordered ela ada and samosa chaat with my family. There were only two ela adas left on the counter, and what we received was clearly stale and soggy, with dried-out edges. I was already unsure this is not how fresh ela ada is supposed to be. But then I got a whiff of it, and it smelt spoilt.I brushed it off at first, thinking maybe it’s just a strong smell, but my entire family caught the same foul odour. I took another sniff, and it was absolutely rotten. 🤢We immediately returned to the counter and told them it was spoilt. While they did take it back and offer a refund or replacement, what came next was unbelievable they asked us for ₹5 change. Seriously? After serving spoilt food, you still expect customers to give you exact change? And to make it worse, not a single word of apology. No ownership, no concern, no basic courtesy nothing. The person at the counter was blunt. This isn't just about a bad dish. What if a child had eaten that spoilt food? It could have made them sick for days. This kind of negligence is unacceptable and reflects a serious lack of food safety, quality control, and basic customer respect. To the management: This was a disgraceful experience from a place I once trusted. You seriously need to look into your food quality, handling practices, and how your staff interacts...

Food: Consistency seems to be an issue here. The chole bhature, once a splendid choice, was disappointing on a recent visit with an uninspiring chole and a tough bhature. Samosa chaat and pani puri also lacked the expected burst of flavors. Their famed peri peri idli, once a spicy delight, now falls flat with dry idlis and a weak peri peri kick. The mango lassi was particularly underwhelming, with a clearly artificial taste. If real mangoes aren't used, it might be better to remove it from the menu—mallus have high expectations when it comes to mangoes. The only positive dish was their bullet idli which I fear that they'll ruin it next time.
Ambience: Forum Mall's food court is a lively, well-lit, and spacious area with a buzzing atmosphere, making it a great place to hang out, though the absence of power cords can be a minor inconvenience for those looking to work.
Customer Service: Expect a bit of a wait, around 15-30 minutes, as the outlet handles high foot traffic, which is understandable given the popularity...
Read moreHad one of the best dahi puris of all time. Service was super fast. We had the filter coffee & tea as well. The coffee was better than the tea, and both were served in atrociously tiny paper cups, it's literally half the size of what you would get in other establishments for the same price (Rs 35). We had to literally order 4 cups for 2 people. If the management is reading this then I'd suggest them to increase the quantity to regular sized cups. There's no other outlet serving tea in the food court so i guess they'll take advantage of the monopoly. I wish i could rate them 5 stars for the wonderful dahi puri (Please try, it's great) but the tea/coffee quantities are just impossible...
