Read moreBeniyabagh (or Benia Bagh) is a large parking and park facility in central Varanasi, near key landmarks like the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Dashashwamedh Ghat etc. The complex includes an underground (basement) parking area for four-wheelers, plus spots for two-wheelers. On top of the parking, there’s a park (green space) maintained, with gardens, walking paths, some recreational features. The underground parking works over ~16,500 square meters. It can accommodate about 470 cars (four-wheelers) and 130 two-wheelers. Entry started operations from early morning (around 8 AM) after inauguration; it gets busy quickly especially during peak hours. Because it’s centrally located and newly opened, it can fill up fast. If you come later (especially afternoons / evenings), you might find space limited. Outside the parking / in approach roads, traffic congestion can still be heavy. It helps to arrive early or allow extra time. Facilities (restrooms, lighting, walk-paths etc.) may be under continuous improvement; sometimes cleanliness or crowd-control issues are reported. Good for parking safely when visiting the old city / temple & ghat areas, since driving all the way into narrow lanes near ghats can be difficult. The location is...
