🚨🚨BEWARE OF LOCKER SCAM BY OUTSIDE SHOP OF TEMPLE!!!🚨🚨

Note: This review is NOT about the temple.

Shops and vendors outside the temple are doing scams. Visited with family and below is our experience: We reached there around 5 pm. The queue here is very long. Shop owners outside the temple said, it will take 2-3 hrs to reach inside.

They promised us to give quick entry from another gate which will take 5-6 minutes only. Also, asked to keep shoes, mobile , smart watches in their locker, which is free. But have to take Prasad from them. (min cost is 200-250 ₹).

Note: lockers and Prasad are available inside the temple, but just for quick entry we decided to give it a try and agreed with one of the shop. (This shop was at T-point of entry #1. Shop owner photo and card attached). We purchased the Prasad of 230₹ (this was minimum), then he asked us stand in the same long queue it will not take 10-12 minutes. Which obviously was not true. We stood in that queue for around 50-60 minutes and moved only 10-12 metres. Still 40-50 metres (at least 2-3hrs) left to the gate and we had a flight to catch so we decided to go back.

We came back without Darshan, and returned their Prasad and said we are not going to pay even a single ₹. They started fighting with us. We had 10-15 mins very heated arguments. They tried to humiliate us. Sharing a few lines what exactly they said to us during that argument: "Humne jaldi entry ka nhi bola, line mei jitna time lagta hai utna to lagega he".

" Aap jaise log bs shopping mall or doctors ko paise dete hai, bhagwan ko paisa dene mei Sharm aati hai".

"Line se aap jayenge ki humlog jayenge, hame kya pta line m kitna time lagega".

Finally came back without paying any money. But that incident spoiled everyone's mood and...

Better to go via pandas or middle men.Management issues tickets but cancels when you reach the temple gates. When pandas can take us inside charging huge money why should the management stop the ticket holders notifying the tickets are invalid due to huge harsh. How does it make sense, helps only pandas & middle men. Beware of shoppers advising to keep the mobile & footwear at the gate 1, you can go beyond and leave beyond Annapoorna temple. The temple management has not made a shoe rake for devotees but they can avoid misguiding by shopkeepers by at least putting some sort of boards. Everthing in the temple thats is pandas,rishi performing aarthi, place to sit for Aarathi is only MONEY cheating and business, none of them is helpful and honest.its one of the most sacred temples the management should take prope steps to avoid corruption...

The evening programs... classical dance nd Sangeet ..it's worth watching n the epic #THE GANGA AARTI .. people all over the world come to attend this Aarti ..u'll like the togetherness of crowd sitting nd singing the aarti!!! I just think that .. this ghat nd it's holy temple nd the lord Shiva bring every cast religions together leaving behind their differences of rich n poor to pray nd to feel the peace of mind!! Nd yeah also the ethnic earrings 😅😅 don't miss those ladies ..u'll regret ..so yup do have a visit of market of godaulia lkn bhaisaab auto walo ki loot se Zara bachkr ..bara...
