Tanatap Coffee Braga — Restaurant in Bandung City

Tried this coffee shop when a friend from Jakarta came to visit. There happened to be some kind of culinary event going on, and since it was the weekend, the place was quite packed. We had to wait a bit for a non-smoking table. The non-smoking area (on the first floor) is smaller since it shares the space with the bar, while the smoking area upstairs is more spacious. To be honest, the non-smoking section, though aesthetic with shelves full of vinyl records, feels a bit claustrophobic, especially the small corner room.

The circular staircase looks pretty, but some parts of the railing are missing, which doesn’t feel entirely safe. Upstairs is brighter, but the seating area surrounds an open space that looks down to the floor below. The railings have wide gaps between the bars, so if you’re afraid of heights, I wouldn’t recommend going up there. Even I felt a bit uneasy! If I can give negative on service, I would do so. This place is definitely has one of the worst service in town. You can sit down at this place without ordering anything and not even one employee would greet and ask if you already order or not. The system is so freakin screwed up. The cashier is absolutely imbecile. It seems she was put in that position for her look. She’s not only not friendly, she’s not exactly smart also. When I ask what’s the system here, she said we have to order something first before u get the seats. OMG…. We’ve been seating for the past 15 minutes and nobody even bother greet us. We ordered Americano, Thank God it’s the best thing that we ordered that day. Nasi goreng is mushy, the combination platter is just simply horrible. Congratulations @tanatapcoffee for the opening of sixth store "Heritage" at Bandung! . Back with its stunning and mesmerizing design, the store which located in the Braga heritage area will open on August 30th. This coffee shop has successfully implemented the concept of adaptive reuse, an interior with a minimalist industrialism without eliminating the vintage ambience, with a touch of tropical vegetation as the hallmark of @tanatapcoffee and wooden craft "Hayatree" by @wisnu_ajitama.
