FORK — Restaurant in Bandung City

We have been dining twice here. First night we have ordered burger and pizza. Beef burger was extremely dry, with a pickled onion and fat piece of meat on the top of a smashed patty. Margherita pizza was very nice though!

Two days later we came again for the pizza, had a seat upstairs. There was terrible smell of smoke from the kitchen, after a while sitting there, we felt it in our eyes. We have order two pizzas and dessert. Dessert was brought first before the pizza … First pizza has arrived, but for the second we have been waiting 10-15 mins so that the first one was already getting cold.

We have finished the pizza and then we have moved downstairs hoping the air will be breathable there. Fake hope, it was almost the same, I have informed staff about the situation and they have offered to move into the front room, which was somehow separated from the kitchen. It was nice though we have just finished desserts and left.

Staff barely speaks English, but fundamentally, they are there entire day and if the ventilation is broken, they should inform the guest infront so that we can sit and enjoy the meal like a people and not smoked sausages. Everything smells by the smoke even after hours being outside of the place.

So all in all, place has a potential, a bit of an English for the staff would help, though for the smokey experience...

I found this nice restaurant when I walk around Braga Street. I smelled a very nice smoked beef aroma around the restaurant. I tempted to visit. This place looks really good. It has outdoor, indoor area and also elevated stair flooring for more nice and cozy hangout. A great place to chill, eat and drink coffee.

This place serves Pizza & Donut, Smoked Beed/Lamb Plate and Coffee. Western food for sure.

I order 'SMOKED SHORTPLATE PACKAGE', this package contains of Sliced Smoked Beef, Basmati Rice, Grilled Onions, Salads, BBQ Sauce and a very spicy Sambal Korek! The price is only IDR 50,000. It tastes good and yummy, the smoked beef is tender, I can taste the smoked. A lot of flavor to mix with the beef with the sweetness of BBQ sauce, the hotness of Chilly Sambal and eat long with the Salad for a fresh palate in your mouth. They're perfect combinations! Serve it with an alcohol drink or coke for a good finish. Overall this is a worth to try if you visit Braga. You'll love it!

After you full, just chill and listen to our Indonesian local jazz music with a cup of coffee. It will make your day relax and happy. Make it sweet and perfect with a DONUT! Their Donut is BIG! As BIG as my FIST.

FUN INFO! Spoke with the staff and he said that the beef has been smoked for 8 hours! With firewoods! That makes the meats soft, tender...

I tried their recommended braga steak and beef brisket. Both have nice flavors and Smokey aromas to it. I also tried the NY slice pizza but haven't tried the dessert and the pastries but I will try it next time.

Braga Steak : meltique ribeye/striploin served with french fries and their signature sauce (mixed of savory and a little bit of sour,blend in a good way) (8/10). Beef Brisket : for me this is the star, the smokey aroma from the brisket is very good, they used quality beef, add that with mac and cheese and coleslaw, these will balance flavour from the beef. I prefer to eat the berf without the sauce since it gave me the sensation from the smoker. My suggestion, order the 200g beef brisket, if you think this is too much, you always take away (8.5/10). NY slice pizza : wooden smoke slice pizza, they served it fresh from the oven, the pizza is good, balance flavour from the dough, sauce and the toppings (8/10).

The service is fast and the portion is quite fair. The downside is limited parking lot but you could find it near bank in front of the cafe or in Braga St / Lembong St.
