Suluban Beach — Attraction in Kuta Selatan

First, I recommend you just park your motorbike at the place as shown on the maps, DONT follow the sign written on the road, since you need to walk further to the beach and need to pay IDR 5K. As the parking area shown on the maps is free and closer to reach the beach.

Actually it’s okay to pay the 5K, it’s not that expensive, but I wish it’ll at least closer to the beach, but it’s not (almost 2x further). Because you need to walk passing some restaurant first.

The beach it self is beautiful, but limited spaces to sunbath. The water is clear and nice to just playing and swim on the edge of the beach. And if you love surfing and not a beginner, you’ll definitely will love this place. The waves ate beautiful!

The internet signal on the beach was down, so better to have some offline music with you if you want to listen to some music while enjoying the beach. And no food vendor at the beach, bring your own so you dont need to go up just to buy some food/drinks. And dont forget to bring back your waste.

This is such a unique beach in bali. Definitely recommend coming down to this beach if you stay in Uluwatu. Had to pay a fee of 5k per person. You have to climb down for a while to get to this beach. Might be tiring for someone who isnt fit but its not that hard either. Probably 5-8 mins to go all the way down to the beach. There are many small cafes and restaurants located while going down the stairs. We went around 12pm in the afternoon on a weekday and the tide was quite high but it was really beautiful to see those huge waves crash on the beach from afar. If you are not a good swimmer I would avoid swimming there as the currents are quite high. There were a hand full of people, not too over crowded either. This place is natural Jacuzzi beach, my suggestion come here before 8-9 am, u will find the beauty's of this beach, there will be a few step stairs down to reach the beach, there's also bike and car park in top enterance, no fee enterance, but u need to pay park fee 3.000 IDR for bike, 5.000 IDR for car, inside there a lot of shop and cafeteria for drinks and eat, but im not recommending you to eat and buy drinks there, its too expensive, 35k for bali coffee, 15k for 600ml mineral water, so you better get your food and drinks before arriving. And good wave too for surfer, the sand is white but not soft, you can smin in the spot were there's bo coral in it, its not deep and far from big wave so its safe as long you pay attention to the coral and your step in the water.
