Mamo Hotel Uluwatu — Hotel in Kuta Selatan

🚫 Not worth a Single Day! Can’t say how horrible it went!

Stayed three days with my Wife. Checked in at night after long flight with a “Crazy Guy” at front desk. I call him crazy cause his talking & gestures could have made things easier.

Went to room! It smells super bad, floor damp (i understand it was for weather and rain) but it was not at all clean and healthy. Cabinet has stains & dirts everywhere.

Went to toilet, shower is all dirty! Didn’t even try to use it. Sink has a hole in it too.

Asked the front desk guy for TV remote, he said no TV since 2021. In the whole room, there is single power outlet! A dirty single outlet in the whole room.

And to top it off, can not sleep due to the sound the road makes all night. We didn’t even try the swimming pool, just didn’t dare to try with the nastiness & unhygienic things we had seen everywhere

Great location, but for half the price, i would get better treatment in Bali, and i got so in other areas. This was robbery & mistreatment

So in a nutshell Dirty & Old Bathroom No telephone in the room to frontdesk No television No Hair Dryer (one ancient one is given that cant be used due to the shortage of cable & plug) Not enough support staff (I complained to the owner via whatsapp, still they didn’t respond) No Electric Kettle No Mug or Spoon (forget about coffee or tea bags) Not enough lighting or lights for the...

This hotel is fantastic, basic and cheap this is a great base to stay at. Only a 3 minute walk to Single Finn beach bar on your right and 5 minutes to the left is Ulu Cliffe house. ||||The room is basic with only a bed, wardrobe, bedside table and dressing table but there is a tv.||||The aircon is noisy and purrs all night long. In the bathroom there are no windows but the amenities are good based at a basic level. ||||Towels provided but they are again basic. ||||The hotel pool is small and you would t sunbathe around it for a day but is fun to dip into after a day in the sunshine.||||Opppsite the hotel is a mini market where everyone gathers to hang out. They play sports on tv and music. ||||The restaurant provides breakfast daily in an open plan terrace. Great for people watching and meeting other guests.||||The food again is basic - eggs and toast but the service is excellent. ||||Hotel is very helpful and will get good priced taxis and arrange the boat transfer. ||||Highly recommend. Great value....

Few different points to consider: Room - good size and right at the swimming pool. Price is a little bit steep compared to other places we've been in Bali. The room was dirty when we arrived (leftovers of food in the fridge and on the toilet floor). We only had sugar in the room as well (I don't know if coffee sachets or tea bags should be included). Shower has hot water but the mixer plays up delivering warmer and colder water in little intervals of 2-3 seconds while having a shower. Swimming pool - looks stunning but it was dirty and not well maintained. Staffing - very friendly Location - 200m from nice restaurants and bars. There's a convenience store right in front of the hotel.

Overall I think it's quite expensive considering it doesn't even include breakfast. We've stayed in way better places with better service around Bali and other areas...
