Cantika Zest — Attraction in Pulau Bali

I came a first time for a hair treatment. I really enjoyed the treatment itself but as you receive it in the same place of the reception, it's very noisy. The therapists talk to each other very loudly, without even try to whisper. It's like you are not here. Even your therapist, while she is doing the treatment on you listen, laugh and participate to their conversation. You feel like you shouldn't be here. It's really unpleasant to feel that she is not focus on you and all the noice and talk around you are not relaxing. I came a second time to give one more chance because I liked the treatment and the result on my hair. Same experience with the noice but this time the treatment was not very good, it was not the same therapist, the massage was poor, she was focusing on what was happening outside or conversation and I left with very oily hair, I had to wash them again when I arrived home. (The first time my hair were perfect) I complain about the noice, share that I didn't enjoy and relax at all because of that, that they should do the treatment somewhere else or at least whisper when they have client. They didn't care at all, they didn't offer any compensation. Seems that they don't really care about their client. I left angry and...

Loved the place!! I was trying to find a place that is simple, with staff that does the work with heart and attention. Nothing of that "Sunrise package," "Sunset package," "Romantic package," crab that has more to do with packaging and beautifying the image of the so-called spa. I'm glad I found this place.

It is out of the main tourist area so wheels are needed. Although decor of the place is very simple but I find it very homely and very grounded. At the reception area, facial, hair and body care products are being sold. All made organically and I think they also offers workshops for those who are interested in learning how to create their own products. I had a traditional massage, took a shower (towel is available) followed by a facial. The masseur was an older lady (I tend to like older ladies as they are often very good), and she works with attention and care. Business is pretty good here but I don't feel like I'm just another piece of meat to be "processed." Her English wasn't very good so I would suggest that if you have a particular concern, raise it up at the reception and get it communicated before going into the room. Oh man, what an experience. I did not expect too much for that price but for us it was toooo nice. The Massage was one of the best we have ever had and the surrounding is just what you would like it to be. Wild and with naturesound. Me going there all stressed and me walking out all relaxed was just something I did not expect in such a big way. I really forgott how much a good massage can do to body and mind!

But yes the crazy thing and the reason why I write this review is because right after the massage is when the even bigger magic happened. The warung that belongs to that place and that is at the street had the best food we have eaten so far! So fresh, all organic. They use all the indegrience from the garden. Normally I would even tend to make an amazing like this not to public. But thats just too selfish and they really deserve the success. We have had the green soup, the nasi bakar and some pancakes.
