My girlfriend and I were lucky to have moved into a villa right next to Rona Warung, which we realized is a diamond in the rough. The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD. We LOVED IT so much that we decided to create a 6 MONTH meal plan. Ever since we started eating their healthy food on a consistent basis, our bodies were brought back to life. The unhealthy food in America had us feeling terrible and thanks to the wonderful family cooking, we feel the healthiest we have felt in years. The food is always made with love and getting to see the husband and wife's smiling faces every day makes us that much happier. We made the decision to go with a meal plan because of how high quality the food is and it is so affordable too. Once we started to make our way through the menu we looked at each other and we were like, "Woah, this is like... the best food in Bali right here, right down the street from us!" Seriously, you HAVE TO eat at Rona Warung, especially if you are staying in the area. But don't go for 1 meal, I would highly recommend getting on a meal plan. The investment has been totally worth it and like I said, we haven't felt this good in years and years. Please give Rona Warung your business, they are the most sweetest and loving family in Bali....

I came late morning for breakfast and a shake, was the only guest and had great service. The setting is simple but comfortable, with a bar like seating area overlooking the rice paddies, although there’s an old hut that somewhat blocks the view. Would be great if they could move that.
Food wise it wasn’t a memorable experience, the scrambled eggs were very very cooked (pop corn style) and had a dash too much of maggi seasoning for my taste. But the papaya passion shake was very tasty and overall both the food and drink were a good value.
The warung is a bit hard to find, you have to drive down a very narrow alley from the main road, turn left onto the side of a watering canal, and then turn right to go up a hill for about 100m. There’s signs, just...
Read moreThe most hidden gem of Ubud, perhaps even Bali. This place is absolutely worth five stars. The dishes are all very flavorful and delicious, and it's also a great spot for healthy smoothies. And, if you're looking for a dessert to try, you absolutely must try the pancakes!
The restaurant also offers a beautiful view, especially during sunset. I've eaten here several times and I can't pick a favorite main dish because they're all so delicious. This is truly one of the best restaurants in the area and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ubud.
In addition, I must say that the hostess is also very sweet and welcoming. She adds a personal touch to the dining experience and makes you feel at home. The combination of great food and excellent service is what sets this restaurant apart. Don't miss out on...
