⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My dining experience at Indus Restaurant in Ubud, Bali was absolutely exceptional! From the moment I stepped through the door until the very last bite of dessert, every aspect of this restaurant exceeded my expectations. Let's start with the menu, which was a delightful blend of Indonesian and international cuisine. The Beef Rendang was an absolute masterpiece, tender and bursting with rich, aromatic flavors that danced on my palate. The Gyoza was perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with delectable goodness on the inside – a true delight for my taste buds. However, the star of the show had to be the BBQ Pork Ribs. The meat was succulent, falling off the bone, and the barbecue sauce was a heavenly blend of sweet and smoky. I can't recommend these dishes enough; they were truly unforgettable. And then there was dessert! The Pavlova was a work of art, beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. The delicate meringue, topped with fresh fruits and a generous dollop of cream, was the perfect sweet note to end my meal on. But what truly sets Indus Restaurant apart is their exceptional service, and I must give special tribute to Made, the manager. Made's attention to detail and dedication to ensuring a memorable dining experience was truly remarkable. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and attended to our every need with a warm smile. The ambiance of the restaurant is equally praiseworthy. Overlooking the lush Ubud landscape, the setting is both serene and romantic. It's the kind of place where you can unwind and savor every moment of your meal. In conclusion, Indus Restaurant is a hidden gem in Ubud, Bali. If you're seeking a culinary adventure that combines the best of Indonesian and international cuisine, impeccable service, and a stunning atmosphere, look no further. I can't wait to return to Indus and experience their wonderful hospitality once again. Thank you, Made, and the entire team at Indus, for an unforgettable dining experience. You have earned my highest recommendation and a permanent spot on my list of favorite restaurants in Bali!

Dining at Indus Restaurant in Ubud was nothing short of perfect. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt enchanting – an elegant setting overlooking the lush green jungle valley, where the natural beauty of Ubud blends seamlessly with the refined interior design. The open-air concept creates a serene and romantic ambiance, ideal for both intimate dinners and relaxed gatherings. The food was truly outstanding. Every dish I tried reflected a harmonious balance between traditional Indonesian flavors and modern culinary creativity. The ingredients tasted fresh and thoughtfully combined, with careful attention to presentation. The seafood in particular was remarkable – perfectly seasoned, tender, and infused with authentic spices that elevated the entire dining experience. The vegetarian options were equally impressive, showcasing the chef’s ability to cater to diverse preferences without compromising on taste or quality. Service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff were warm, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations and ensuring that every detail was taken care of. Their professionalism added a personal touch, making me feel not just like a guest, but genuinely welcomed. Overall, Indus Restaurant exceeded all expectations. With its breathtaking views, superb cuisine, and flawless service, it is easily one of the best dining experiences in Ubud – a place I would return to without hesitation.

Unless you want to have diabetes don’t order their chocolate wafer dessert. It was really sweet that I can’t barely eat any of them. Moreover, when I asked the waiter to take it away because I literally had only eaten 10% of it, they can’t packaged it. Then I asked another waitress if I could take it away and they say cannot too, so I got curious and ask why, she said because she will have to break the chocolate. To be honest I don’t mind, since this is a IDR 60k-70k dessert, would you rather me just throw the entire thing?! Earlier when looking at the menu, the waiter did mentioned to me the dessert is very sweet but I didn’t expect the dessert to be 90% sugar. It was inedible! And this is coming from someone with a sweet tooth! Was a disappointing experience. I ordered other food too like the chicken satay, it was around the same price range 60k-70k and satay itself has nothing special. The only thing I like is the peanut sauce. Bottom line, for the pretty high price range, the food isn’t that worth it. The only saving grace is the location looking out to the greenery campuhan ridge. Other than that, not worth eating out in.

Very disappointed, I told the waitress 5 times and also 2 times in Indonesian, explaining how I have a severe peanut allergy, and we would be sharing everything so to please double check nothing has peanuts in. Our food arrived and I ate some dumplings only to realise when it was too late that they were covered in Peanuts!!! I then became very very sick and I told the waitress….she then told me to drink green tea as that is what they usually give people when this happens! Making me think this must happen to them all the time!! I was so insulted, green tea does not help an allgergic reaction, maybe it can help remove te taste of food you do not like; but it does not stop an allergy from happening. they are very lucky I did not drop down dead on the floor of their busy restaurant! So to the manger and owner, You must retrain your staff about how serious a peanut or any allergy is. You are so lucky. I went home and it ruined the first couple of days of our holiday as I was very very sick and my whole face and upper body remained swollen for 2 days after, and I threw up multiple times. Not fun. And it’s probably not a good idea to sprinkle peanuts as garnish over foods that would not usually contain peanut. So stupid, I am...
