Ridgewalk start from north — Attraction in Pulau Bali

When you start the walk its steep going down. Take your time and you'll be okay. Once you get to the bottom which will take a minute you'll walk 30 seconds and see the Temple and hear water gushing which is beaut. Then there will come some high steps and an eventually an Incline walk. That lasts about 5 minutes. By that time you'll reach the pit stop, the Bali swing and a lil cafe where you can sit and enjoy a drink etc. Or if you want you can carry on. Once you past this spot, it gets easier and I weight 110kg and not fit but managed to do it. I went back a few days in a row and the walk became easier. You get to another "heavens gate" type of gate, when you walk past that is when the little stalls and restaurants start. A little walk from there your have beautiful views of the rice fields. Good walk with many locals and tourists alike. People running or just leisurely strolling. No need for hectic gear, can be done in sandals/slops/birkenstocks. Done at midday and not too bad. Very nice walk with a lot of scenery and greenery, enjoyable during the morning if you have no plans in Bali. It gets hot though after 8 AM try to make it earlier than that. It is in a great location with many cafes around if you would like to grab breakfast afterwards. We visited in December and wasn’t busy at all, we were able to take pictures and walk and take breaks (as it is a hill walk so it can be tiring for those not used to inclined walks). Highly...
