Fitzgerald Park Playground — Attraction in Cork

Been here countless times. However, we just walked by the playground. The play ground is well equipped. Definitely perfect for those with young children and kids.

You can get a coffee from Natural Foods Bakery and chat with your friends while the kids are at play.

It is wheelchair accessible. There is wheelchair accessible parking nearby. You can have a picnic or sit back and relax.

We love this playground. It is spacious, has plenty of bench seating, feels safe, has enough activities for the kids. It does have parts though that if you sit on a bench as a parent you won’t be able to see all parts of the playground. There is also green space next to it for soccer etc. as well as a flat paved path around the entire playground. Cool...

Great conceptual playground. One thing that drives me crazy about this playground is visibility. It's very poor as regards keeping your child in full view at all times. Its easy to lose your child here unless you follow them everywhere. Because there are too few playgrounds if such quality anywhere else in cork, this one tends to get overcrowded when...
