The Green Frog Café — Restaurant in Cork

They’re were 3 young staff member serving, looked like a supervisor one also looking for staff to work the St Bridgets weekend for the Friday, obviously with no supervision, not only are they rude, but they don’t care about the reputation of the business. I asked for my sandwich not to be toasted I was informed the bread was not cooked fully and had to be heated, I said ok but not as long as the other sandwich I had ordered. When brought out to me i went to the table and the heated the wrong one 🙃 I noticed them making smart comments faces and giving attitude about me coming up about it. They create a bad atmosphere, I would think twice about going back, but I hope that there are different staff. No heating in there also all the chairs and table rusty not one staff working on the floor all behind the counter chatting management need to look at there staff and check your cameras when...

I don’t often leave a negative review so this is actually really disappointing for me. I had high hopes from the photos but was let down by the experience.

Make staff at till in the morning were unfriendly. Not rude but no hello, no smile, no chat, no effort. Tables were not cleared or cleaned. The seating area was cluttered with things that should be in storage.

There was no table service or it seems option to have a sit down experience with reusable cutlery.

But my main gripe were the bathrooms. Broken taps in both. Unclean. It was just really not a nice experience. The eggs pot I got was just okay.

Take away looked much nicer to get a pastry or croissant or sweet treat. Also it was 9:10am so busy college rush time. But if you’re around campus and this is a daily occurrence they should have staffing to be able to handle that.

NOT IMPRESSED. I Go To This Cafe All The Time but never again after this. Waited 10mins to be served let’s keep in mind no line. It was just me waiting. I had to wait for the employees and manager to finish their unprofessional conversation for me to be served eventually. One Young blonde lady felt talking about her night out was of interest to me and the rest of the cafe and had to put my day on hold for that. Covid? Tell me how does it make sense for me to wear my mask coming in for a “so called” manager to be eating at the side of the counter where the food is made? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. No hello, no thank you, no apology for the delay, no nothing. Last time they will be getting my business. Word of advice, your customer service is letting ye down big time.
