PizzAmore — Restaurant in Cork

Ordered the Quattro Formaggi but everything about the pizza is mediocre. No discernible difference in taste, complexity, construction or ingredients than a pizza you'd expect delivered from a kebab joint. I've had worse but this one is nothing special. Very similar to Fast Al's. What's wrong with Fast Al's you may ask? Absolutely nothing, hence the two stars, except I genuinely can't help laughing at other reviewers describing this pizza with an outright misleading and awfully cliched combination of words like "authentic", "Italian", "homemade" or "fresh" (when referring to the ingredients). These people have very likely never been to Italy and if they have then they probably exclusively dined in all the touristic spots where pizzas are bulk-bought and cooked from frozen. Way far to be a proper pizza. Bad service, product probably prepared with cheap ingredients. I would like to think it was fault of the driver that delivered different orders keeping mine one for last. And here there is the negligence of people that doesn’t know the importance to don’t keep the pizza too much time inside the box. Ham got cooked with the steam and dough got gummy. Really pity because I gave a chance to pizzamore.

Maybe the owner should explain the meaning of pizza and amore word. Love it should be also gave to the job and service of the pizza.

This is a constructive feedback and I wish good luck to the owner, I hope you will also put love as mention the name of the restaurant and you can spread this love to your employees in order to ruin your job.

Absolutely terrible customer service my friend was waiting over an hour for a pizza and rang to see what the story was and was told the pizza was on the way. Another hour later and the pizza had still not arrived and when she rang again was only met with rudeness and disrespect and was told that “the pizza was banging on your door half an hour ago” even though she was at home all evening and this was not the case. They didn’t even ring her as most delivery services do if they were having trouble finding the house. All they could say in response was “what do you want us to do about it”. Left waiting for two hours with no food and not even an apology. Won’t be giving this restaurant my business again the pizza isn’t...
