Awful, awful, awful. I wished I could give this place no stars. I ordered on line on Saturday. Normal waiting time is one hour.. which is fine if fresh. Food is always great from here but I won't used this company again. 3 hours after ordering my food, it arrives after telling them I don't want it and to put the money back into my account, which I ordered on line. I sent the food back. It is Tuesday now and the money is still not in my account. I have phoned up every night looking for my refund to be told that the manager/owner is not around and just general appalling customer service. I contacted easygrub today and told them my situation. They phoned me within the hour of my email and said the money would be transferred into my account today. It's amazing how you can respond to easygrub so quickly but not to your paying customers. By the way I have used Namaste lots over the years and this is the third time my food has been 2-3 hours late. Will never use you again, appalling customer service, I would steer well clear of this company if you don't want to be waiting for your food for hours and holding onto...

Great food but incredibly unreliable delivery. I ordered online last Saturday evening at 7.30pm. I received no confirmation but was charged so I called up 30 mins later to make sure they had the order. They did, and said it would be another 40 more because they were really busy. Understandable and I appreciate them being upfront, I thought. Another hour passed, its 9pm now. So I decide to give them a friendly reminder. They said they've spoken with the driver and he's out for delivery. OK it must be around the corner I thought. Another 30 minutes passes, it's 9.30. I call again. No one picks up. I wait another 20 minutes. No one picks up. Its 9.50, I've ordered the food over 2 hours ago and it's looking grim. I cut my losses and order pizza. Pizza arrives. We eat the pizza. I get a call from a delivery driver saying our food is outside. Its 10.30pm. 3 hours after ordering, 1.5 hours after the lady said it was on the...

Review: 0/10 – Extremely Disappointing

I ordered the Tikka Chicken Masala from Namaste India and specifically asked for it to be spicy. What I received was the complete opposite, it was shockingly sweet, to the point that it tasted like sugar had been added directly into the curry. There was absolutely no spice or heat, just an overwhelming sugary flavor that completely ruined the dish.

This is not what Tikka Masala is supposed to taste like, especially when a clear request for spice was made. Very disappointed with the lack of attention to instructions and the completely off taste profile.

Also, please don’t ruin the authenticity of Indian food. When people from other countries try this version of Tikka Masala, they’re not going to walk away with a good impression, and that hurts the rich and flavorful reputation Indian cuisine deserves.

Definitely not...

I specifically requested a spicy garlic curry by adding a clear note to my order *and* calling the restaurant directly to emphasize this. Despite both efforts, the dish arrived completely mild—without even a hint of spice. When I called to address the issue, the restaurant refused to acknowledge their mistake and instead made excuses. If I’d wanted a mild curry, I would have ordered a korma with cream—not a garlic curry with repeated requests for spice! The owner dismissed the problem entirely, stating they couldn’t redeliver a corrected dish and bluntly told me to “call Uber for a refund.” While I’ll get my money back, this experience has cost you a customer. Poor execution and worse customer service have completely ruined what should have been a simple dinner.

I don’t expect perfect from anything but a bit of coordination with the menu and dish should be bare minimum. On the menu it says that the dish may have eggs and soya in it, which it did. But there was Celery (number 12), onions, peppers and lettuce?? I called them after just to see how we’d sort this simple mistake and I was told word for word “if you do not want pepper or celery in it, you should have said not to add it”. It’s egg fried rice, apologies for not assuming there’d be half of the food pyramid in my late night snack. After all, I got no conclusion other than the bin as the restaurant was 0 help towards anything. A disgrace.

I gave Namaste India a try and it was A complete let down. Unfortunately the standard of the food is very very low, mix platter for two, everything was dry overcooked and probably made in the morning and cooked again before serving, it’s not freshly battered and deep fried, prawn samosa burnt on one side and soaking in oil. Mixed Biryani tasted nice but the proteins inside was over cooked and dry. They are not even close to 1 star. I will never order from this place again. What a waste of money.
