Stopped into this bar/restaurant inside the Ashling Hotel while waiting for our train. The bar offers reasonable prices, given the location. The food quality seemed high, with most ingredients sourced locally. The bar was tastefully decorated, bright, with large windows looking out over the nearby park and train station. Couches and chairs were comfortable for a 2-hour delay. Nice wine list, with reasonable prices by the glass. Perhaps I was there on an off day, but the service was very poor, resulting in the 3-stars. Inattentive and forgetful, with an overall lack of attention to hospitality. There were three servers, a bartender, and manager present with fewer than 12 tables, but we routinely had to go find a server to place an order for food or drinks. Read moreI am conflicted on my review of this restaurant. The food menu looked decent, the drink menu was decent, and it was always busy when we looked in. We only got drinks 2 night in a row and the first night our 2 drinks to go took about 15 min. The second night they took about 30 min for 2 drinks.
