Slow home delivery and poor quality fish

I should have taken photos of the food as it wasn't very nice looking but my phone was charging at the time so didn't take any snaps. We ordered a bento box, volcano roll, chicken wings and 2 pieces of fresh salmon sushi nigiri.

I put in the order online through Just Eat about 1.5 hours before we wanted it to be delivered at dinner time 5.30pm. Got a text at 5.30pm from Just Eat saying the food was on its way but it didn't arrive until 6.10pm.

The hot dishes were just about luke warm bordering on cold. The Volcano Roll was all smushed with the toppings stuck to the plastic lid. The two containers of soya sauce had gone on its sides in the paper bag so it had leaked and the chicken wings were rubbery due to having sat steaming in its box for too long. The two nigiri pieces of salmon smelled fishy and not in a good way. I took one bite and spat it back out. Binned it cos i wasn't taking a risk of eating it and getting a dodgy tummy later.

With delivery charge the above came to nearly €42 and for what we got and the 40 min delayed delivery it really wasn't worth it. We'll be thinking twice about ordering from J2 Swords next time we have a...

This is our favourite sushi restaurant, it has been since they opened and we have never had a problem with them, service and food has always been pristine. ---------- Today we ordered for delivery using Just-eat (thanks to just-eat for the way they handled the situation). For some strange reason the order changed, instead of having two monster rolls it was sent as one monster roll and one tempura (which we don't order) anyway.. I called to let them know and the guy that answered was very rude, he blamed me without allowing to even explain, whether or not was a human mistake or what just-eat believes was a glitch because we ordered two rolls of the same kind, the way J2 dealt with the situation was not OK. I asked for the manager and I was told he was too busy to take my call. O.o The conversation went downhill from there. No one should ever be that rude to anyone. Finally, just-eat called J2 and they sent a new roll. But our only treat of the month had been spoiled. It is very nice food but today the service did let us down. Hard to recover...

best authentic Japanese restaurant! prices more than friendly, absolutely amazing staff!! the chefs are very quick and their food is warming up your soul! can’t recommend it more. the sushi is fresh and delicious, the miso soup hits the spot, the udon noodle soups are exquisite, the chahan can be made vegetarian or vegan, the fried udon dishes are to die for! Asahi and Kirin beer served all day with a wide selection of Sake and a few cocktails, wine, soft drinks. i would love to see some sake cocktails soon! Again, the staff members are lovely and they keep the place spotless! they also have a separate room for parties or gatherings. a restaurant you have to come and try authentic Japanese food if you are visiting Ireland or if you are bored of the europeanized versions of other Japanese...
