If you visit one garden this year, make it this one…. It is beyond wow, on every level. It’s setting, in what looks like part of an industrial estate, with buildings that house other projects for the less abled clients of this project, our expectations were not very high… But the welcome once you step inside is genuinely warm, informative, and knowledgeable. We were advised by the lady to download the app as a guide around the garden, and what a brilliant idea that was… And then the garden…… I think I could go there every day! Serene , beautiful, Devine planting throughout, and with the help of the app, things were explained, so we got the very very best value on our visit. ( which was only €6,00, so more than good value) Met two lovely men who worked there, also very helpful and informative…just lovely people,

There is a cafe here also, but we had eaten , so just had some tea, lovely room, and staff were a mix of carers and clients , who were so willing to help , it was sweet.

I could go on and...

Theres a day care centre and other buildings around the garden and cafe. Some disabled people live there as well. They produce and grow beautiful plants, some you can but. Also they have woodworking courses, and others and the ornaments and other produce you can but as well. Especially around x mass time. During this time the garden is opened a bit longer and all decorated with colourful lights and santas etc. Theres an inside water fountain, usually with music and different lights, seating as well. The cafe serves different teas, coffees, buns etc. But also warm meals and salads. The cooks are absolutely great, very tasty meals, wether just a salad or more, cater for different diets as well. And ever so friendly and helpful. The price for the gardens 5 euro for elderly, the meals quite inexpensive. Like a tea only 1.50 euros. Surplus goes towards upkeep and running of the facilities. Very worthy cause. But you can also just go there for a cuppa, alone or meet someone. Very clean and...

Stunning collection of "Individual Gardens" laid out in a connected patchwork way.

Each "themed" garden has many "sensory" elements which engage you from all angles.

Our visit in November meant extra colours and aromas which with the lovely sunny weather made for a great day for our family party.

One of the most surprising aspects of the whole Delta Centre is its Town centre location nestled in an industrial estate. This only adds to the magic and surprise that the gardens provide.

As a keen amateur photographer there are many opportunities for a wide variety of shots. Dependant on the time you visit the light plays with different areas of each of the gardens.

The whole experience was superb and one I will repeat when we're next in Carlow. This is the kind of landscape best revisited each season to see it in a new light each time.

Well done to everyone who has worked so hard to create this wonderful community space and those who continue to care for and...

The gardens are small but absolutely beautiful. Each of the 19 individual gardens are carefully designed & maintained. Don't forget to relax in one of the lovely places to sit & have a look around at all the different, hidden pieces of sculpture & wood which are all around you. A sense of peace & tranquility comes over you in this wonderful place. The map is well designed & guides you through each garden. Hungry? then head into the cafe for lunch, yummy food, highly recommended! Why not take a look at the craft area in the cafe, some lovely things there....

Oh my God what's not to like? So many different gardens. Wheelchair easy peasy. My favourite garden is the lost child. Colin loves the O Brien garden. There's a body of water with bridges and a mirror at the end. We have used the arbor/shelter and brought a picnic and Colin has sketched a part of the garden. The restaurant is gorgeous, decent coffee, cakes and sambos. The kids will love giant jenga, chess, draughts, connect 4. Here, we have had some true fights over games there
