The Barracks — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Carlow

We recently celebrated my twin daughters’ 18th at The Barracks, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible effort of Joanne Aaron and their team. As I wasn’t able to be there, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, to arranging balloons, bringing out the cake and candles, and making the girls feel so special and welcomed.

A big thank you also to the DJ for the birthday announcements through out the night which added such a lovely touch to the night. Joanne and her team truly went the extra mile, and thanks to them, my daughters had an unforgettable celebration.

Got asked for ID when I went to buy a drink at the bar, no problem. Didn’t accept a drivers license as a form of ID yesterday evening at 8pm in a pretty much empty bar, I’m 24 years old… said that an age card/passport/bank card was needed as well? However they weren’t accepting age cards as form of ID on New Year’s Eve? Different rules for everyone apparently, seeing as friends who went inside 10 mins before me who are 22 years old didn’t get asked for ID when buying a drink....

Had an amazing birthday party here, beautiful venue and astonishing staff! Would like to thank the event manager "Devile" and the two very talented bartenders "Chris" and "Owen" who made the most delicious cocktails we've ever consumed.
