Great spot to sunbathe during the day and skinny-dip at nighttime! The beach is a super popular spot for surfers just off to the left of the end of the walkway leading over to Jaffa. On a good day they sit waiting for the “next wave” to go. Of course from another perspective it looks exactly like California Surfing-seriously. But at the waters edge it’s an easy low grade leveled surface area on the sand below. Not very deep. So shallow at times in good weather, that it’s uncanny how far out one can wade from before going into deeper waters to swim. There is a lifeguard there during summer, and free facilities for showers and toilets (most have already finished construction and renovation). You are not allowed to bring glass bottles to the beach - so be aware (there is a havy fine).
