Bezzo Pizza — Restaurant in Tel-Aviv

I saw this place while staying at the nearby hotel, and it looked very nice. As a Tel-Avivian, i was surprised that I didn't know it. Especially after i saw its rating. Turns out there was a good reason. The pizza was pretty bad. Like the ones you buy frozen in the supermarket. The dough was mushy, no crisp at all. The tomato sauce was very strong, too strong. The mozzarella wasn't good. The few things that WERE good are the feta cheese topping and the house sauces. Would not recommend this pizza (it's also pretty expensive), but I guess it is better than the room service pizza...

So this place has a lot of great reviews, but let me ad a grain of salt. Everything looks great and the personnel is very friendly and helpful. BUT. They didn’t have large pizzas (which is okay) and they offered already baked slices. Well, regardless of them heating up the slices, they still felt really old and tasteless. The guys added some caramelised onions to the pizza and the onions were just tired of this life. Feels like they were made a week ago. So generally I didn’t like the pizza at all. But maybe it’s just misfortune and next time things will go...
