Booking required or buying tickets early to secure place as The first two parts of the museum are with a guide to make sure they dont touch and ruin the presourved areas which in many cases are open, the first part is the old Capitolium (Main Temple) is currently underground due to the city being higher today than whe the first temple was built and is about 15-25 minutes, the second part is the in main Capitolium which is the visible building partially rebuilt to show the true size of the temple, inside there are 3 main rooms with slightly different views, this part is also about 15-25m after that you can go out side and go to the open part with the theatre, this is also a UNESCO World...

an amazing roman site which compared to other remains is relatively quiet, the winged victory statue and audio visual display in the sanctuary of Jupiter is impressive, you have to take an escorted tour for the first section (not guided as they don’t say anything) this was very rushed and we shot through in less than 5 minutes which meant there was no time to read or look at the amazing wall plaster in some of the rooms I don’t no why they provided labels because you were pushed through before any chance to read them. Once the museum staff leave you then you can explore at leisure but not through the...

Very impressive and extremely interesting if you're into history. You can walk around the outdoor areas for free. You can buy tickets at the ticketdesk if you want to see the building foundations and interiors. Included in your ticket are Museo di Santa Giulia (huge museum with many artefacts and Roman building foundations and floors, you can easily spend 3 hours in here), foundations of the earliest temples, interior of Tempio and monestary of Santa Giulia. If you have a couple of hours to spend in Brescia, then this...

Very cool experience. To visit, you have to get a timed ticket - be aware that to control the climate inside, they let in each timed group all at once, so avoid being late. You have to wait by the entrance at the bottom of the stairs until it is time for your group’s entrance. Guides were helpful & informative. They play a very cool video at the beginning that provides context & gives historical info about the site. Would highly recommend a visit here.

One of the most amazing things ive seen of the roman Empire in the museum here at the archaeological sight. Remains of walls of which its paint is still intact. Just walking around uptop is also worth going. It seems mass tourism hasnt found this gem yet. We walked around basically alone
