Read moreThis is not really a beach. It’s a little cove. The beach has pebbles and no sand. It also has a cement promenade where you can lie in the sun. The water is magically blue. It’s a little too cold as the winds are high in the cove. Some practical info- 1.Check the weather before going. One day I went it was beautifully sunny. Next day turned grey and horrible Depending on where you stay, you can take a bus there. There is a Sita bus service. You need to buy the ticket before at a tabachi. The local bus between Praiano and Positano does not need tickets from before as you can buy them on the bus. This bus comes every 15-20 mins on most days. I am Not sure about Sunday.... I think it’s less. Also this bus is hard to distinguish because there is no sign on it! It is covered with ads with strange pics. But there is a bus stop here and all busses stop at this. So nothing to worry about You can take a car too as there is some place to park as well Like all of Amalfi, nothing here is cheap. If you are feeling broke, don’t forget to carry a snack and a drink because the cafes will burn a deep hole in your pocket! If you have some money, The cafes are lovely!
This is a v pretty area... very very Mediterranean waters. You can spend the whole day here!
I give one star less for...

The other two thirds are occupied by sun loungers which you need to pay quite high prices for. Nonetheless we arrived early so managed to get a parking spot for 3€ per hour and access to the free side of the beach. Parking on the paid parking spaces down the road costs 3€ per hour whereas to park on the parking lot by the beach you are requested to pay 3.5€ per hour for a small car (like fiat panda) or €5 for a bigger car (such as a ford fiesta). There aren’t many parking spaces down the road for 3€ per hour so if you wish to get a place you must arrive early to secure a place. We’ve arrived at 9am and most parking spots were already occupied. If there aren’t any parking spaces left, the parking staff will not let you drive down to access the beach. Waters are clean and quite warm, we really...
