OUTSTANDING !!! DONT MISS THIS PLACE!! Just came back from visiting Rome, Capri , Sicily and Almalfi coast for 3 weeks! My sister and I are self proclaimed foodies, we met an Americans on a sailboat and they told us abou this place, they went 2x because it was so incredible . Hands down the BEST meal we had on are WHOLE trip , EVERYTHING we all had was so delicious and we All had differenty so beautifully plated the flavor was what I dream about and service was incredible so very warm and kind! BEWARE, when you go visit and you ask a local or a tour director for recommendations the a good restaurant the places we went to other than this one were just mediocre and we think maybe the ppl where friends or related . I wish I would of gone to this place EVERY night I was there, the food had such depth of flavor and quality, totally outstanding all 4 of us agreed !!! see below for google translate

Giù le mani il pasto MIGLIORE che abbiamo fatto è stato TUTTO il viaggio, TUTTO ciò che tutti abbiamo avuto è stato così delizioso e abbiamo avuto tutti così diversamente placcato il sapore era quello che sogno e il servizio era incredibile, così caloroso e gentile! ATTENZIONE, quando vai a visitare e chiedi consigli a un locale o un direttore del tour per un buon ristorante, i posti in cui siamo andati oltre a questo erano solo mediocri e pensiamo che forse il ppl dove amici o parenti. Having gone to Melchio with friends for a great dinner the previous night, my wife and I decided to have dinner there again the next night for our 31st wedding anniversary. We both agreed afterwards that we absolutely made the right the decision. Both of our appetizers were amazing. The wife's grilled octopus and my longostino scampi were both fantastic. They were out of the bottle of Chianti that I ordered but Caterina, the chef's wife, suggested another bottle of local wine that turned out to be amazing also. We shared the Bistecca Alla Fiorentina for our main course. It came with a side dish that included zucchini, eggplant, sweet peppers, bok choy?(maybe)and one of the best French fries that I've ever had. One of the main reason that we went to Florence before going to the Amalfi Coast was so that we could have the Bistecca Alla Fiorentina there. We did have the Bistecca while we were in Florence but, to be honest, Chef Vito's Bistecca is far superior than the one we had in Florence. It was perfectly grilled to medium rear and the portion was just right for my wife and I to share. And last but not the least, we had the tiramisu for dessert and the word "great" is not enough to describe how great it was. We had tiramisu for dessert after every dinner while we were in Italy and this one was definitely the best.

Perfect dining experience! Everything from the owner, the waitress, the food and the atmosphere, this was one of the most memorable meals we had in 16 days in Italy! We did it right down the menu with Scallops as the appetizer, then shared the 1st course and the each ordered our own 2nd courses. Each stage of the food was perfection and you could get a sense that this is going to be a special meal right from the start with the appetizer. I'm not a wine drinker so the owner suggested a type of lemon soda they have and it was served with a slice of orange 🍊... I loved it and ordered another... it's like he knew me better than I know myself. The sauces on each protein were smoothly blended with all the flavors working together in harmony! Beautiful view of the Amalfi Coast doesn't hurt either! On the way out I told him I would write a review so here it is a day later I highly recommend taking the time to dine here as you won't regret it. My wife and I both agreed this was the meal of the...
