San Torenzo is a mix of free beaches, top notch beach clubs and rocks that you can access to perch or lay on and everything is impeccably clean and well kept. My favourite beach club is Colombo. A good mix of fine restaurants both along the front and tucked away in the little village carubi’s. I walk from the beautiful historic village of Pitelli to San Torenzo in 30 minutes you can find yourself in one of the most beautiful locations on the Italian riviera. If you are fit and you like a good walk. Then you can walk all the way along to Lerici which is even more beautiful. It is spectacularly crowded in July and August but this is a jewel any time of year. There is a large car park in the middle between San Torenzo and Lerici also tucked away that you would never even know was there is a rather good 9 hole challenging golf course called Marigola set within tropical gardens and hidden within the hills behind San Torenzo €15 quite inexpensive for a round. Wonderful beach, we had 2 loungers and an umbrella for €20. we spent the day at the beach renting a pedalo (but options for canoes and paddle board) and the children running around without worry. There is also toilet facilities, hot shower 50cent or a free cold shower and feet washing facilities. Made life much easier...

Wir haben einen ganzen Tag Anfang Juni hier am Strand verbracht. Es war wirklich toll! Für 18€ haben wir uns zwei Liegen für den ganzen Tag gemietet (ohne Sonnenschirm), es gibt aber auch einen kostenlosen Bereich. Am Vormittag war es wunderbar leer, am Nachmittag wurde es etwas voller. Aber das ist ja auch selbstverständlich, wer will bei blauem Himmel nicht ins Meer springen? Das Wasser war schön klar und noch richtig erfrischend. Die Kulisse ist auch einfach traumhaft, keine riesigen Hotels, sondern die vielen wunderschönen, bunten Häuser Italiens. 🇮🇹 Für unsere Reisezeit können wir den Strand nur empfehlen!
aber an alle, die Auto fahren: Informiert euch unbedingt vorher über die ZTL in San Terenzo. Auch die Parkplätze am Ortseingang gehören leider schon dazu und die Bußgelder sind sehr hoch. Ab dem Kreisel bei der Via degli Staglietti/Via Gozzano/Via Bagnara solltet ihr auf keinen Fall weiter in den Ort fahren. Wir sind daher einfach hergelaufen, es fahren...
