House of Lucretius Fronto — Attraction in Pompei

not the biggest of the semi-restored houses of Pompeii but a good one. The only caveat is, that its located as far away from the center of town as it gets. Nice frescoes and mosaics inside. There is also a partially reconstructed roof, that is to say its reconstructed over only the central part of the house. Beautiful gardens too. Worth visiting, but only if you arrive early in the morning and plan on spending the whole day...

Visiting the archeological park of Pompei we were not able to get there, although this house was one of the most important places that we planned to visit there, so it is really very much a pity.
