ONE SUSHI - Pompei — Restaurant in Pompei

I live in Pompei but travel all around Naples to different restaurants to find places with consistent good tasting food restaurants. I have now been to this place a second time as myself and wife were very pleased by what it had to offer. See photos to see the variety of food served. You order via tablet attached to your table. We went both times at lunch. I mostly look for good tasting food with repeated delivery of good taste from the same restaurant on different days. One Sushi Pompei has made me happy both days. As I say in many of my reviews there are too many restaurants in Italy that can one day excel and the next give you below average food. We are so happy with it that my wife plans to go for a third time this week. I would recommend anyone to go there but please realise that when you go there you won't have the same type of restaurant service you'd get elsewhere. It is after all a buffet style restaurant where the servers bring you the food and clear the table. It can get noisy when it's busy with large groups since it's right next to the Pompei ruins. If you want good wine etc spend the higher end money. Keep an open mind and an open stomach and you'll be more than satisfied. I loved it. I will go...

Everything there was awesome! I only had a limoncello flute and a coke, but everything looked delicious. The reason for the one star was that if you sit down at the restaurant, regardless of if you eat or not, you will be charged as though you ate from the all you can eat menu. The limoncello flute I ate was something I paid for since it wasn't included in the all you cam eat menu. Our waiter even told us that I wouldn't be charged since I wasn't eating, but in the end, they just didn't seem to understand. They didn't speak very good English or Italian, so it was difficult to communicate to the people up front. I did love the dog though, 10/10, very good dog. Great Japanese, Chinese and Italian food coupled with good service! Food was served quickly, fresh and hot/cold (depending on what you ordered). Ingredients used are fresh (as I will usually get tummyache is food is not very fresh) & their chefs are good in creating delicious food! There might be a few items that they missed. Not sure if it wasn't available but I didn't ask as there's lots to eat so I'm alright with it. Will definitely go for their buffet again if I'm in the area! €30/pax for dinner buffet in July 2025, drinks & desserts are not included....
