not the biggest of the semi-restored houses of Pompeii but a good one. The only caveat is, that its located as far away from the center of town as it gets. Nice frescoes and mosaics inside. There is also a partially reconstructed roof, that is to say its reconstructed over only the central part of the house. Beautiful gardens too. Worth visiting, but only if you arrive early in the morning and plan on spending the whole day at the ruins.

Uno de los tantos lugares que ver y visitar dentro de esta ciudad de Pompeya, la casa Marcos Lucrecio vio la luz en una de las tantas campañas de excavación entre 1846 y 1847,3​ localizada por Vicolo di Lucresio Frontone y Via diNola. Es muy grande, decorada con diferentes pinturas y mosaicos es impresionante verla y conocer su historia. Está localizada al otro extremo de la entrada Porta Marina, pero ni se siente el recorrido de las maravillas que puede uno ver en esas ruinas.

Visiting the archeological park of Pompei we were not able to get there, although this house was one of the most important places that we planned to visit there, so it is really very much a pity. Why would they keep it closed 6 days a week and open it only on Fridays? It doesn’t make any sense, most tourists don’t have a whole week to stay in Pompei but just come for...
