Lorenzina Beach Club Taormina — Attraction in Taormina

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place truly deserves one. My partner and I visited both Mazzarò Beach and Isola Bella during our trip, and while they were beautiful, nothing compared to this hidden gem.

It’s peaceful, right in front of the yachts, and far less crowded. At only €20 per person for a sunbed, it’s incredible value — especially compared to the €45 we paid elsewhere. The service was exceptional. Staff were attentive, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating. My partner is quite a picky eater, and they went out of their way to prepare something off-menu just to make sure he was happy. That level of service is rare.

I’m honestly shocked by the negative reviews. Our experience was phenomenal from start to finish — the atmosphere, the music, the setting — everything was spot on. You can even use a lilo for free, which added such a fun touch. The owner was warm, kind, and absolutely hilarious.

A little hidden gem with a beautiful pebble beach. Had a complete make over from 2 years ago. Plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas at €15 each. Nice decked area overlooking the sea. Sadly the service was hit and miss, especially if your Italian wasn't good. But the food was god awful. I can only describe what was an expensive entrecote that looked and tasted like old boots on iceberg lettuce with 4 cherry tomatoes 🍅, and also swordfish rolls also sharing the remaining iceberg 🥬 leaf. The latte was a large glass of warm milk with a hint of coffee; but the glass of white wine 🍷 was nice. We were charged extra for bread we didn't order, so check your bill. Located in a nice beach. Beds were decent but overpriced (40€ for a pair) and very poor service. They didn’t have still water at all (how is that possible???), all items brought were different from what we ordered and they seemed to think this was normal and acceptable. After rejecting three of the items ordered, when time came to pay bill the rejected items were still there and I had to argue and have the bill re-printed twice to get to the correct amount (they would have happily charged us for things we didn’t consume and charge higher prices for substitutions we didn’t want or were informed about).
