I had a wonderful time visiting the perfume museum. It’s much more interesting than I expected! The collection is surprisingly extensive, with a wide variety of perfumes from different time periods and brands. From vintage bottles to iconic designer fragrances, each display tells a part of perfume history in a really engaging way. What made the experience even better was the English audio guide, which was clear, informative, and easy to follow. It helped me appreciate not just the scents, but also the cultural and historical background behind them—how perfume evolved over the centuries, and how it reflects fashion, lifestyle, and even politics of the time. I especially enjoyed seeing the differences in bottle design and branding over the years. It was like stepping into a time capsule of elegance and creativity. Whether you’re a fragrance lover or just curious about something different, I highly recommend this museum. It was a relaxing and enriching experience that I truly enjoyed.

This small museum is full of surprises. We visited it today and I was positively surprised. The whole team is very friendly and they are also welcoming. We were lucky to participate in their fragrance class, it was full 😂 you can create your own perfume, selecting a top note, middle note and end note. In total there are 16 flavours you can pick from. it is an experience that's worth it and with the price of 2800 Yen, I also think it's affordable. You will mix a 30 ml perfume. ☺️ I enjoyed the time after walking around their exhibition, which featured a lot of interesting facts about the origin of the perfume. Their shop is also worth visiting, they had things from very small to bigger. whatever you are looking for, you might something here. I recommend the local products.

Totally impressed - it was fascinating and wonderfully curated. I had next to zero interest in perfume (associate it with airports and jet-lag) but these exhibits showed me what an oversight that was. The history, science and culture of scent are super interesting and this museum couldn’t do a better job of showcasing it in an informative and interactive experience. I kind of wanna start collecting cool perfume bottles now! The free English audio guide works brilliantly and gives the experience a clear structure. Don’t remember the last time I enjoyed a museum so much! 1000x better experience than the commercial hot spring hells up the road

The exhibition was a bit chaotic & random even though some of the information was interesting. It is a bit of an old school museum, the display is not modern & the design is a bit outdated which is a shame because is a place that exhibits a lot of designer made objects (perfume bottles). It did spark my interest & i would love to see & learn more about the history of fragrances in other exhibitions. I also would’ve like to see (& think it would’ve been an interesting addition to the exhibition) more on the connection between memory & smell/how different fragrances shape memories. I haven’t tried the made your own perfume experience mainly because I had the feeling it would be a gimmik. It seemed like everything they had on display was very sweet and thought the fragrance you would obtain would have a similar feel which i...
