Kanemori Red Brick warehouse is one of my favorite place on earth ever. I went there with my parents two time and both time having a great time. The place itself has many shops within the warehouses, selling clothes, bags, sea food and souvenirs. Occasionally, the warehouse hosts event like art gallery. There is a Christmas festival in the winter that has a giant Christmas tree on the dock and food stand outside selling soups and hot drinks, perfect for families and couples to enjoy their time taking pictures, shopping or eating. The unfortunate downside of this place is the parking spot is not free and quite far from the warehouses themselves. The warehouse itself closes at 19:00 which is fast considering how long people stay after it closes at the dock. Things to be aware of before visiting is the weather is really cold and the wind can be strong at times. I recommending wearing a windproof top and boots to be comfortable at all time while you take pictures and enjoy the place. A place you could visit after the warehouse is the Sanroku ropeway station that will take you up the mountain to see the view over the city of Hakodate...

Did not have the opportunity to try some of the cuisine...
