ChÅ«gÅ«-ji is a temple in Nara Prefecture, Japan, that was founded as a nunnery in the seventh century by ShÅtoku Taishi. Located immediately to the northeast of HÅryÅ«-ji, its statue of Miroku and Tenjukoku mandala are National Treasures.
