Cafe Komodo — Restaurant in Ikaruga

A stone throw away from Horyuji Temple and you would be automatically drawn to the soft jazz melody playing at the entrance. The cafe provided a nice place to savour the rustic feel of Horyuji and the thousand years history around the UNESCO site.

近所で気になっていたので、娘と姉と姪っ子とお邪魔しました。 駐車場はカフェに入る細い道横の道路沿いに何台か停めれます。

入り口から可愛いロボットがお出迎えしてくれ中の雰囲気もとても素敵✨可愛いです🎶 コロナの影響でカフェ以外はお休み中でした。

ランチはこもどランチのポークのとまとチリソース炒め、特製こもどカレー、お子様セットを頂きました。

とまとのチリソースはご飯が進む味付けでお肉も柔らかくとても美味しかったです。 しかしチリソースかな？ってくらい辛みはなかったです。 カレーは少しボリュームは少なめでしたが、素揚げの野菜が沢山乗っていてカレーの味がとても美味しかった！ お子様セットは古代米しか選べず白米がないので子供達食べれるか不安でしたが、色付きご飯が逆に良かったのか完食でした(^^) 竜田揚げはモモ肉とムネ肉で黒っぽいのは大和麩の竜田揚げでした。 大和麩は色的に子供が食べなくて、先に少し味見してみると、なんとこれがかなり美味しかったです笑 ふわふわで出汁が効いて噛むとジュワッと出てきます。 子供に食べさせると美味しかったようで完食！

食べ終わり話をしていると店長さんが子供達にマスコットのロボットクッキーをくれました(o^^o) ありがとうございました♪

店内も可愛く居心地も良く、手作りのジャム等も販売していました...
