A lovely and vast park with winding walking trails, shadowy paths, great views, and tidbits of history to be learned at monuments and temples scattered around the area (all descriptions are in Japanese only). We came during the Golden Week, but there were very few people, which is a plus if you want a change from the crowded center of Kanazawa.
