Sansuikyo Machiya — Hotel in Kanazawa

When just looking from the outside, it may seem innocent and you may not realize how amazing this place is. Another beauty by Kanazawa Machiya team!

The machiya is traditional, but very thoughtfully renovated with all modern / high-tech design - toilets, heated floors, light switches at exactly where you need them, shower that can be controlled every way.

Some highlights:

1. The entire bottom floor is shower, spa, washer area
2. Right next to the Asano river and Tenjin bridge
3. It's a corner building with great views all around
4. Excellent restaurants right around the corner, across the bridge, up and down along the river - but don't forget to reserve and observe the opening hours. We went to Tamura and Les mailles and highly recommend both, but wished we had stayed longer to try others and booked in advance
5. Very high tech equipment for your enjoyment

We had an amazing stay, all the staff were super friendly and ready to help, they let us leave our luggage a little before check in time which was much appreciated

The location of the house is amazing, there are many things nearby, the house was clean and organized, we loved the sauna and the bath as well

They also help you book taxi and anything else you need, again the staff here was above and beyond

The location of the accommodation was perfectly situated in a calm area but close to the tea district. The house itself was clean and well equipped. For example, we had a washing machine, dryer, yukata, coffee, tea, access to various streaming services via the beamer, etc.

The booking and administrative procedures were seamless, thanks to the excellent communication and organization.
