Perfect for children. The museum is more like an indoor playground, with many activities and play areas for children to enjoy. My child loved exploring and playing with the interactive areas.
There is not much for an adult to do. I just watched my child play and took many pictures. Some play-sets are small so it's hard for an adult to come inside and play with the child. I don't think the ticket price is worth it for an adult, but the ticket price for a child is worth it because the children have so much fun. I brought a book and read while my child was busy having fun. There are many seats to sit on while the children enjoy themselves.
The staff was kind and happy. The musical show was very enjoyable, but I recommend getting to the stage area early because seats fill up fast. we paid for 2 adults 2 kids (same price per pax) but they only checked for adults upon entry for L2. L1 is free entry featuring anpanman themed food & drinks..toys & even a barber!
all shoes allowed inside which i thought wasnt hygienic especially for young kids.
it is a play area not a museum. toilets are clean and there is a water dispenser.
we enjoyed the show the most! we caught the last show at 330pm. people started seating in to get the seats at 1 - 1.5hrs prior! we arrived on time and had to stand at the back. the show was completely in Japanese and we didnt understand a single word but the hosts had infectious energy! the sound and lights complemented the energy!

The pay to play playground is really for toddlers and crawling babies. Kids aged four are almost to old. Can meet Anpanman and his friends in real life. There is a show twice a day, check website for times. Food court downstairs is free entry and Anpanman does visit the kids here for free.
Jam-Ojisan bakery was perfect. After ordering, the sales assistant told my daughter that Jam-Ojisan was making our order and it would be ready soon. So believably cute.
