We had the French course and went on the twilight cruise. The food and entertainment are both grossly overpriced. The piano was incredible to hear, but other than when entering and exiting the ship….you will only hear it in the dining room for 10 minutes. I let the chef know I was allergic to seafood weeks in advance and literally received an appetizer with a canned sort of meat that looked and tasted like canned dog food. It was honestly worse than spam. For my next course, I was served what appeared to be an extremely small chicken cordon blue that came from the freezer. It was overcooked. The only good thing I was served was a pumpkin soup and it was served in an espresso cup. The portion was so tiny, it was like a sample. A bottle of wine was around $80 for a bottle with the actual value on vivino of $10-15. Coffee was as weak and watery as coffee can possibly be. Dessert was good. I don’t like to write negative reviews, but unless things change…..save your money, my friends. Kobe Cruise Concerto is an absolute rip off. You can spend the same money out in town for a real Kobe steak without this sham of a cruise and not feel like you threw your money in the garbage. My 2 stars go to the waitstaff, who were...
Read moreThe staff were very polite and attentive and their service was impeccable. They offered to take pictures of couples and families with the ships camera as well as using guests' mobile phones. The onboard musical serenade was pleasant and also included a tastefully brief interlude of happy birthday in celebration of the applicable guests. Most of the numbers played were well known background tracks in Disney movies. The vessel "Concerto" however detracted from the overall experience. Right from the beginning there was a noticeable smell of bunker fuel inside the dining room and the interior throughout. It seems like this is a longstanding issue as there is noticeable staining around all of the air conditioning vents inside the cabin. I was also disappointed that guests are not permitted on most of the exterior decks. The only outdoor area is the sundeck. The food came out slowly, the final course of coffee being served literally during docking...
Read moreWorst Kobe cruise experience EVER. The staffs didnt even give a proper explanation when we entered hence many ppl were all kinda trying to figure out where to sit and trying to see the outdoor view on the upper floor. Mind you, ppl were just STANDING on the third floor stairs and the staff from the room frowned and shut the door right infront of our faces. We were aware that we didnt buy the dining courses on the cruise but they could have at least tell us to not go to some of the floors? No explanation & just rude behavior from the staffs. For those who's looking for a better cruise experience, just take the smaller cruise option right ahead of concerto. The staffs are friendlier & you get to see the views from above. This one is just a fancy looking cruise but not...
