Hidden treasure!
Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this coffee shop. It's situated fairly close to Kumamoto Castle. We went during the end of the summer so it was hot on our way to the castle. Finding this location was an amazing relief as we were drained by the sun and needed coffee and a cool place to be.
This place satisfied all those needs! And we were greeted with an amazing view of the castle! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The coffee that they had for the cold brew was the most unique cold brew we've had. It was an Ethiopian roast that had notes of Ramune , lemon and a natural whiskey aftertaste . We also got a mango juice and that was also quite refreshing.
We topped it off with a pudding which had a nice vanilla bean topping and a nicely burnt caramel syrup. Well balanced cafe break and recharged us for the remainder of our journey.
So glad we ran into this place. I highly recommend a visit . Especially if you're planning a visit to the museum or the castle. And they can easily accommodate most size groups even up to 8 to a table
They are located in the museum on...
