SAKURA MACHI Kumamoto — Attraction in Kumamoto

Sakura Machi Mall has various shops inside it. In my country, malls are really big but I dont know if it is already considered big in Japan. I like the fact that this is not just a building but it has trees and plants too. You can enjoy your favorite drink outside there are seats provided and on the top floor is a playground for children and a place where you could relax while seeing nature. Occasionally, there are exhibits of food stalls outside the mall where you can enjoy food, music and other stuff. Toilets are clean too and there are wide selection of food in the B1. Bus Terminals are also very reliable, it has an updated schedule and signages are everywhere. I would say it is a foreigner- friendly mall, signages are in English and announcements are in English, Korean...

End June 2025. It is excellent place with strategic location- it is near the shopping arcade, the castle and some other tourist spots. It itself is a shopping mall with food court, supermarket and restaurants. Better still it is connected to bus terminals where you can take buses to airport and couple of other places. It has a rooftop garden where you can enjoy walking around and look at different views. There is also an eatery shop in the garden and a small interesting shallow pool for kids to play with water. Sakuramachi is a convenient location for locals, travelers, and shoppers alike.
