HANAZONO ZIPFLIGHT — Attraction in Kutchan

We had a fantastic time on the ducky tour in the morning, followed by the zip flight experience at noon.

The ducky coaches, whose names I might be misspelling (probably Bushu and Shogo), were incredibly helpful and provided excellent guidance. They even acted as lifesavers if your ducky got stuck on the rocks!

The trip itself wasn't as intense as the one I experienced in Sabah, Malaysia, but it was definitely enough to challenge your skills and control against the current.

Later, we joined the zip flight tour with a mix of local Japanese folks and other foreigners. To start, you take a cable car up, and then a van driver takes you even higher to kick off the zipline. I was a bit nervous at first, but the staff provided clear instructions (and they spoke great English, so I knew exactly how to start and land).

The team, including a staff member who wore black glasses, was super friendly and even offered to take our pictures, which was a nice touch. Staff member Leung from Hong Kong was funny and helped calm our nerves with jokes! The Mach 3 zipline was the speediest, and let me tell you, it felt like a bird soaring down the slope (I hope that analogy makes sense). You really get to experience some strong winds that add to the thrill!

楽しかった！！ Big thanks to the guide Lisa, explained what to expect in each zip line nicely as well as the instructions with a lovely smile all the time. The experience itself was really cool with the nice natural surroundings (sunblock is recommended); cool pack and hand fan were provided while riding on the gondola up to the mountain was an amazing detail, another male guide was really gentle too while providing all the necessary assistance (sorry I didn’t get his name); and here comes Lisa, who made the experience a step further with her great service! We didn't get to glide the zipline. You can't book online on the day of the activity. We arrived the day we wanted to glide. It wasn't busy but we couldn't use the online discount. They would rather lose business. We booked for the next day and arrived in time only to be told the activity was canceled due to weather.
