Gakusei Recycle — Attraction in Kyoto

A good second-hand store to visit. It's small but there are many items which are necessary for those who have just arrived to live in the city. You can find here from refrigerators, heaters, microwave ovens to mattresses, bed frames, rice cookers, kettles, tables, closets, bicycles, etc. On the day I visited the store, most of the items I saw there were manufactured from 2018 onward. Their quality is dependent on the previous owners but usually are in good conditions with reasonable price. The delivery fee within the city is only 1000 yen and usually, you can decide the date of shipment. New enrolling students...

I went here few times to purchased some electronic stuffs. The place is quite small but it has EVERYTHING you need. The staffs are nice (even though they seem busy and move anywhere around the room). They dont really speak english but broken japanese with some hand gestures will help. If you are looking for a cheap bike (

Inquired about selling a few items since I was about to move out, but the store clerk with permed blond hair was very rude with responding to my friend and I's inquiries. We were not hostile at all but he was shouting and glaring at us which I found to be quite shocking and rude. I don't advise going back to this shop if they treat foreign inquiries with such bad hospitality...
