Amazing place. Super buzz. Sits about 12 on a long bar overlooking the kitchen. Watch the chefs laughing and chatting while they construct your meal from fresh ingredients. The place was full of Uni students wolfing down large meals happily discussing the day’s lectures (or more probably social activities between lectures). The soupless spicy noodles are a real winner. Spicy is all about flavour not chilli heat. This is amazeballs. All our orders were enjoyed immensely. Fed four people to a coma state on about 4000Yen....

This place is unfriendly to non-Japanese-speaking guests who visit in groups, particularly during busy periods. At lunchtime today, two friends and I intended to have noodles here. We attempted to communicate in English but failed. When one of my friends approached the machine to place an order, the staff member rudely slammed the door shut, leaving the other friend and me waiting outside. This place is incredible. Two types of ramen, both tonkotsu broth blended with either salt or soy. Delicious. Possibly my favorite ramen I've ever had and yet STILL envious of the people eating the Taiwanese soba dish because that also looked mouth-watering. The karaage chicken was the best I've ever had - went back for seconds. Service was great and very welcoming. Best of all, this was less than $10 USD/per person. Arigato...
