(出典:相国寺HP) It is usually private. It will be open to the public in spring and autumn. Kaisan-do, as its name suggests, is a hall where a wooden statue of Kaisan Muso Kokushi is enshrined. It is located in the east of the temple and is the most important place in the precincts. In the first year of Onin (1467), it was burnt down by the fire of the Onin War, and after the sixth year of Kanbun (1666), Emperor Mizuo was rebuilt for Prince Katsuramiya III, Prince Katsura, but again in Tenmei 8 (1788). ) It will be burned down by the great fire of Tenmei. The current building was relocated in 1807 with the empress of Emperor Momozono and the black palace of Kyorimonin at the end of the Edo period, and was expanded or partially remodeled to be used as a Buddhist temple. Currently, it consists of a chapel in the front and a central shrine that continues to the back, and has a general plane as Kaisando. In the back of the front, the statue of Soseki-ji Kaisan Muso Soseki is enshrined, the statue of Buddhist priest, Buddhist priest, Buddhist priest, and Ashikaga Yoshimitsu are enshrined on the west platform. The mortuary tablets and statues of the Miyake are enshrined. In the south garden of Kaisando, the foreground is a dry dry garden with white sand, and the back is a light and gentle moss ground artificial hill. I have. This flow incorporates the water that flows south from Kamigamo, "Kamogawa-Kamigorei Shrine-Sokokuji Precincts-Kaizando-Koutokuin-Gosho Garden and the water flow that was flowing", and this is called "Ryubuchimizu" at the temple. The waterway after leaving Kaizan-do was called "Aotama structure". Strictly speaking, the garden of Shokokuji Kaizan-do has two types of gardens: the "Sanmizu Garden" of artificial hills and streams, and the "Kaizan Horizontal Garden" where garden stones are placed on white sand bordered by Mikage's cut stones. It is an interesting format in which these two gardens are united and maintain a continuous prosperity. (Source: Shokokuji HP)
