Suika Tenmangu Shrine, known as the god of water and fire prevention, was moved to its present location in 1952 by the expansion of Horikawa-dori. According to the company's biography, on June 25, the first year of extension (923), there was a shrine enshrining the spirit of Sugawara no Michizane. The Totenseki in the precincts cannot be crossed because the Kamogawa suddenly rises in water while Hoseibo is heading for prayer to the palace due to the repeated disasters of thunderstorms after Sugawara's death. When he offered a sacred sword and prayed, the surface of the water split in two, and Sugawara ascended from the top of the stone, and the thunderstorm stopped. A piece of it is called this stone. In addition, it is said that "Seisei stone" is worshiped as a sacred stone that fulfills a great wish and succeeds. In addition, there is a stone mark that says, "I'm going to ride a crow with a Rakuchu packhorse mouth." This is a traffic sign from the Edo period at the head of Horikawa, and since it will be an urban area from this area, get off the...
